Lisa....

Happy birthday Sister. (July 23) You are so sweet and Kind. I wish we lived closer, we could totally babysit for each other....wouldn't that be dreamy? Okay, really just for me. I don't think you need me to babysit. :)  Thank you for being so fun to shop with "online" with my new business, I appreciate your support and it has been fun for me! I hope you have a wonderful year, and I hope we get that family reunion in this Summer!!  :) Love ya!!

Uncle Brett ...

Happy Birthday Uncle ("knuckle") Brett. I know you are in denial of this latest birthday, and would rather me not say your age...so I will respect that. Kind of. All I will say is that I am 36 and you are 4 years older than me.  :) I am thankful that we have always lived close to each other, at times being roommates. It has been great having you in Bend, all the family I have here...makes it seem more like home. Many birthday wishes to you....thank you for being a good uncle to the kids! (7/1/09)
(He is wearing the 'I love Home Town Buffet' pin in support of Jason)  :) :)

Brandt Nicholas turns 1 !!!!!!!!!!! (7/17/09)

My baby turned one on July 17 2009. Yes, I am wiping the tears as I write this. I feel like his first year just flew by....way too fast. I think because I was juggling the other two, and how busy we were this year...I just want to remember every snuggly moment. How I fell in love with him the moment our eyes met. I remember getting my ultrasound, just positive that I was having a girl. I would have been willing to bet a lot of money on it. When the ultrasound tech said he was a boy...I was shocked for about 5 seconds, then so giddy....I was going to be the mother of 3 boys! I was SO SO SO happy and excited. He completes our family, I am so happy he found his way to me. I love you Brandt Nicholas, with all of my heart!!!!
We had a little celebration for you, but honestly you did not really care. I included some pictures of the 1st b-day cake moment. :)

A visit to Nanny's....

Me and the kids spent some time in Washington before my surgery. (surgeries...) It is always so nice to go there. Alex gets to play with his old school friends, Mom cooks delicious meals...and this summer her awesome garden belonged to her and Cameron. He loved to go out and pick berries or whatever needed to be done. Nanny and Aunt Dana surprised Cameron with his own special spot in their beatuful yard. They named it "Cameron's place". It has his old bench (from our house down the street...when we lived there), a lot of flowers (he LOVES flowers) and lanterns and the cutest litte garden statues. He so enjoyed sitting in "his" own space.( Brandt just waddled around trying to keep up.) Thank you for making the boys feel so special!! Alex also got an early birthday gift from his grandparents...ITunes gift card. :)

Summer stuff 2009

I tried my hand at having a green thumb this past summer. It was fun, I have more planned for this coming season. The kids never stopped: we ran races with neighbors, or in the park by our house, a lot of hot tubbing (aka splashing). We went to the pet parade in downtown Bend, it was quite hilarious. Cameron brought his stuffed pet. :) We floated down the river through the Old mill district. We just did A LOT. I wanted to fit in as much family time before my August surgery, knowing that I would be laid up for awhile. Details on that later. We did not have the "lazy days of summer"...we kept busy, and enjoyed being all together.

Happy Birthday Dad!!!! (June 14th)

Oh where to begin with my thoughts, my appreciation.....I want to start by saying Thank you. You have been such a help to me in my life, especially this past year. These past few months you helped nurture me back to health. Always checking to make sure I was eating....making me your delicious crepes EVERY morning while I stayed with you and Mom. I want you to know that every action did not go unnoticed. Thank you for driving here to Bend when I didn't think I would need help...but ended up needing you and Mom so much. Thank you for giving me Fathers blessings....as we say...it couldn't hurt! :) I love how you love my kids, and they love you....especially Brandt. He sure has a bond with you, I hope that continues to grow. Happy Birthday from a daughter who knows how lucky she is! :)
